gahhh!! the colors on my laptop monitor blow ass but as long as i paint in duotone it seems to look ok,hopefully it ll look ok on my main monitor.

last minutes stuff

for the first time in my life i was excited and can't wait to go in to work, this one took about 2.5 hours to get this far, offically this woule be my 4 th tattoo at the shop. and unofficially it would be my 12 th or something. can't remember, this so far it is turning out prety good.
last minute drawing, the original drawing and design was done by ...., this drawing was given to my by my next appointment person, idealy it would be nice if it was give to more at least a week in advance, not a day. ..so i m up painting this, i m liking the colors, but weather it turn out as colorful on the skin is remain to be seen. . I have not a clue how to draw a fish espacially gold fish, but this is my first official fish.

can't wait to get start

I d been wanting to sculpt for a very long time, and this coming week i will get stared. just for fun kinda deal, it ll give me a chance to get way from creating on 2D surfaces and the computer, i m sick of setting here drawing day and night, at least i can put my art table to use. My parents love classic scuptures they have a bunch decorating their house. maybe if it ll turn out really nice i give to them. she ll probably sit about 2.5 high, i want to make it fairly large that way it ll give me a chance to play, i might add cloth to her later depending how i feel then, probably make a rock or something for her to set on.. maybe a mushroom would be better, :) now to figure out what sort of clay i should use, i d been collecting many sculpting video on the internet, glad i did now i can definitely use it.

woo hoo!! not bad for a 10 dollar tattoo :) I finally got the machine cranked up pretty high and wasn't afraid to poked around. so far since my journey into the tattoo world started i had made 50 bucks, hopefully with a year or two it ll be X1000 , that should be doable for sure.
this one is actually turning out pretty fun to do , it gives me tons of oppertunities to play with tons of different forms, i will texture it as well, to give it personlity and all that , should be rather educational.

the other day i bought a 5lbs bag of carrots, i was told ones that if you eat enough of it you re skin will turn orange. true fact.. lol. so far its a no go, but i do love carrots, it is so sweet.
life is great as usual, so far i ve enjoy it alot more then usual, it is hard work but i feel like i am accomplishing somthing each day, even if it was just little tiny stuff. tattooing is going awesome, next week i have 3 to do, if i can keep it up till the end of the year, i may even move a few steps from being an apprentice. work hard = ....getting there. oh well, better hit he sack.

there was this two good looking girls in yesterday, they started flirting or at least one with me, at first i didn't quite understand she was trying to get my attention, so i was kinda dumbfounded for a second....gave them that ...i m sorry , are you talking to me kinda look, gosh , i feel retarded something when it comes to girls. then we got talking and all that fun stuff, then i something excused myself from the conversation....doh!! oh well, next time.

going off track as usual..

something a bit more obstract then the usual human forms, which can get boring at time, somethign i wonder how some people can draw faces over and over and over gain... i m keeping busy at the shop, so far so good, 3-4 tattoo a week , in about 6-8 months i should be good and ready to got out there and make a bing bang!!! yeahh!! can't wait.

hey all

life have been quite busy on my end. i work many hours and i get paid squad.

Hana is leaving, damn it!! but luckily not till the first of June, so we still have a few weeks to hang out. We went to watch Iron man during midnight showing with a bunch of my friends, the movie was pretty good i was never a big fan of Iron man but now i know how it all started.

"I love you" i m not sure how to response to that.. sign, i dont remember the feeling of being in love anymore,I think the only person that I can recall truly being in love with was .well, it doesn't matter, this was back when i was 22. i remember i use to think about her day and night, she was always in my dreams, always wanting to call her to talk.....strang, now i have no desire to do any of those or shell i say very little desire, i think it just takes too much time, too much effort, maybe i just don't care. ..but somehow we always end up going back to it. Alia on the other hand she is such a Fox and unlike my previous girl friend she has brain.. Hana and I was discussing how we can get her and I to be in love. I guess its worth a shot, noting to lose right? well, except for my dignati <-- obvioulsy i dont have any since i dont even know how to spell it :P but what ever.

tattooing are great, i can't ask for a more perfect job. at the next life drawing i will bring my lap top along and doing life drawing on it, should be fun.

tattoo practice more

this i worked on today, took too long and didn' even finish, but that comes with time. it turned out pretty good. not bad for first time using a 7 meg i guess.

today i accidently hit my elbow with the needles, but thankfully it only scratches the surface of the skin, i saw no sign of blood, and i quickly washed it off. i had a little tiny cut on my wirst, but looks like it healed up pretty good and i was wearing glove . should be ok, but i will get my blood check sometime soon.

there will be a small little hand stick out of the stomach. this should be done by this week. it is taking alot longer then anticipated but when is it usually dont? ..wait, that didn't sound correct at all, oh well. i must admit this is alot more fun drawing human it its normal forms.

What a week

What a week!! i decided to put and ad on craigslist for free tattoo last weeks and man, i have gotten so many reply it is out of control. got tons of drawing to get done. and tattoo to do this week. i m keeping busy so nothing to complain about. not even sure what it is that i drew, Spike wanted it to be on his back so yah, that will be interesting. i have 3 tattoos to get done this week, yeah!!! It was Hana's birth day last week, i got her a ..thing that hangs and with lots of hangy little thing and then when the win blows it hit each other and create this beautiful sounds. ....yah, what ever eh. i think she likes it :)

I'm so Hot!!

Yah, i know but apparently someone think I'm good looking and she isn't my mother. My friends and I went to visit her last Friday. she threw a ..potluck . I made this awesomely delicious curry which my momie tought me last week. ...well, it was pretty good for the first try so i was really excited to share new skill, (I will make it a point to learn how to cook at least one dish when i m visiting my mom) any ways, .....my luck never change, everyone there is a vegetarian, but i think Hana tasted it and she said it was great. Alia also had some. she seems nice. I consider Hana one of my closest girl friend i have here, but sadly she is moving at the end of next month. Alia is really pretty ...sigh..what are the odds of ...it so strange, i want to like some one, (a girl of course) but deep down in side i dont really want to get involve with anyone. my desired to go chasing after girls are well, lost some where. I think i d rather draw and do tattoos, make people happy. i dont want this desire to be with someone, then things get complicated, i like my life the way it is now, simple and predictable. Maybe i ll ask if she would like to hang out sometime, when Hana is gone i woudlnt' have anyone to hang out with. its nice to hang with the girls, different view of life. blah, maybe i m just thinking too hard.

i m having such a blast , now that i feel alot more comfortable with colors, you may remember her from last November post, I really want to get good at doing hair, so thats my attempt, i used the huge collection of images i found in Fruits meg for hair style ref. will keep working on her until its done, its fairly close.

art test

Last week i went in for an interview at this company in south scottsdale and this is the art test. i was cought of guard, when i sent out the resume i wasn't expecting reply so soon, so to my surprise the company contacted me the next day and want to see if i could go in for an interview. so , umm yah, i am a little slugish with my 3d stuff, took about 6 hours to model it out, and took about 4 more hours to get this render out, forgot alot of the setting in the render menu.
I haven't apply in a long while, so it was definitely a nice feeling to have a company contacted me so soon for sure :)

LIfe drawing

I sure miss doing life drawing regularly.
This one was done on Tuesday this week at Dr. sketch anti-art ..took about 3 hours. the model was very pretty and she wore this amazing dress, well worth the 7 dollars. for the past month i d meet so many cool artist there, it is quite amazing. great place to meet new faces for sure.

Fairy & Death

This may sounds a little fruity but i do like drawing fairies too, they re so pretty. this is a rough design for one of the guy, still in a very early stage. she suppose to be his daughter, I ll probably be wise to get a picture of her.
This will be a huge piece, not my drawing but it would definitely fun to do. if Sean decides to go with it at that size, it would be wicked for sure. it ll definately put all that i had learned for the past months to test, not to sound cocky, i feel comfident that i can pull it off. in the end, its a win win situation for the both of us, I get to tattoo to my hearts content and he gets a nice tattoo. can't beat that .

I should get a cat here. its cute how he/she always roll on its back..with consistent motions, looks almost graceful if you well, , the kitten reminds me of the cute little leeches i used to watched swimming in the swap when i was kid after it has been bloated with fresh blood .

in the dream, my sister and i was walking though a pond, as she was crossing this shallow muddy water part i saw this squadie looking shap moving slowly toward her, . i quickly realized what it was

color blind

shit, it will take a while to hammer colors in to my brain. a never ending process of seaching and learning. i think i ve found a good technique, but it ll take a few dozen try to get it in to my brain.

what a great week so far

When it rains, it pours, and sometimes you get hit by lightning too which will really ruin your day. Since very late last year... luckily none of the above has happened yet this year. my official first day at the shop was Wends, it went great so far. every one is so cool, i will set up some time for friends to come in and i can start doing tattoos as early asnext week . i ll keep who ever you are posted. thanks for droping by.

a No go

unfortunately we couldn't come up with an agreement on the contract so they decided to go in a different path. i could use the change, but at the same time i have to learn not to sale my sale for less ....i think thats how the saying goes. oh well, next time,
i d been working on a few new drawings, haven't had the chance to post it as of late, i recently moved and the internet finally works, this week i start my apprenticeship at the tattoo shop. it ll be fun, i work from wends to saturday.

that was part of the contract, of course i didn't sign it. who the hell would, at least not for the price they ve offered me. i m not welling to give up my rights to my illustrations for that. i told them that i will license the drawing. that reminds me because last week the lady i spoke to told me that they just wanted to license it, and now they want all the rights to it. maybe for 300 i am will to do a sale out. Allied Health is the company. coming up with contract terms isn't exactly easy "( . at the same time i just want to get it going , maybe i ll just take the bait, ..and regreat it later. but then at the same time, knowign that they could do anything they desire with the drawings make me feels ....not sure what the words. .....maybe i just not do it.

more good news,

I went to the tattoo shop last night and talked to the owner Jim. He told me if i put up their we web page they ll teach me how to tattoo . woo hoo!! for a while i was worry thinking that i can't afford to pay for it, but now all i need to do is that. so i m set, at least for a while.
the medical illustration company have several books already lined up and needing someone to illustrate for. so definately they re still a tone of job to be done. 5 more book plus this one i m workign on = to about 120 drawings, it would be so sweet to have those under my belt and have the book on my hand to show. its going to be busy next couple of months. but it ll be exciting at least i m getting paid for it. hehe, its about time.

woo hoo!!

i got the job, and possibility of more work. they really like my work, and i don't have to sale my rights to the images to them. so , in the long run, i can resale it to other publisher. the only requirement is tha i have to make minor changes to each images just so it doesn't look the same and fortunately there s a good demand for med illustration.

in other news,
I really want to go sign up for tattoo apprenticeship, but most of my money will be spent on moving expenses and rent for the new place. shit...maybe i can bag them take me in ....sigh,

preliminary drawing

not sure if i should be posting client work here. but what th heck this might be the last time i post paid work here though.

well know this week or next wheather we get it or not, this took me about 8 hours - 1 hour text labeling and cleaning up time. it was very hard to come up with someting totally original. i used several photo of acutal model and photos and other artist drawing as a ref.

gettign started

a test render for possible client, if they like it we may get the job, would be nice to have my work publish in a medical book. spend about 3 .5 hours on it so far, i will limit it to only 7-8 hours, that way i can make at least 18-20 an hour. lots of stuff to come, fun stuff.

computer down again :(

damn computer , alway running into issue, fortunately i fixed it. i m workign on some medical drawign for the next couple of days, urinary system, will post sometime this week, tomorrow and sunday i get to go work at the festival as curricalature artist again, last time i had a blast. hopefully it won't rain. we found a few new places to moved to , and i may get marry <<-- yah,i know.

life is weird, sometime bad thing seems to snow ball (i think that s how the sayign goes), other time its the total opposite. things are looking good. I went to a tattoo shop and they love my drawings and will working with me to get me going. my only problems is that i do not have a home to come to, as of right now i m staying with a friend. we will be getting a new place together next month so i decided to wait until then. that way i know for sure that i m obligated to stay, i want to stay at least till the apprenticeship is over then i will go where ever the wind takes me :)

Busy Bee

a quick touch up of my picture, took out all the black spots and blumishes , reduced my nose a bit, recolord my eye, took out the mustach, evened out my chine a bit. removed scars.

sorry everyone, been busy as of late, unfortunately it is not art related.
My friend might be getting a job at this local architecture place, he's going in for his second interview sometiem this week. If he gets in, he ll have no problems getting in as well, yeahhh! for friends.
I had an interview today as well for photo touch up position. wish me luck, looks like i may or may not get it but it went good. simple stuff really, but since i dont really have any real portfolio to show, it might not go though, the guy seemed very nice and i answered all the questions he asked about Photoshop. the pay is decent and i get to touch up beautiful picture of woman all day long.

this weeek i will finally go and sign up for an apprenticeship at local shop,

Need to find a new place to live, at least for another year, Me Jay and Juan will be rooming together.

I am thinking of taking at least 2 classes a semester, that way i can push my loans repayment back for a long time, i was thinking of trying for RN again. I was so close to gettting into the programt, only had 3-4 gen ed and core classes before i get accepted into the program. doh!!! the only bad thing is that , since i took the classes so long ago, i may have to retake it again. :( ..but oh well, that might be along tearm goal, get my RN (yes, you read it right, Register Nurse) by the time i turn 40 or something.

finally figured out somethign neat about Vray, it turns out that i can do distrubute rendering on the net work after all, if i can get it to run properly with in the next couple of day, i may get back to doing more 3d houses for fun and for preparing for the possible job with my friend. who know. tatoos, are going great, i got my colors set the other day and am testign it out on DAwg, discovered many new tricks the other night, I was able to color a huge area in a short time. yeah to learning, until next time, i hope eveyone is doing well.

house color test, although it may look easy, lighting an entire seen so that it look uniforms are extremely hard, this drawings hurt my brains for days , but i learned alot, especially how to make mix colors, and smoothting out key parts.
