trying some other technique. so far it is looking pretty good, too bad all the details are lost when i shrink this image down. until tomorrow...wait, i guess tomorrow is halloween. We suppose to go spent the night at a Hunted hotel ..i think it is called San Carlos , its right there in down town Phx. there are some disturbing stories about what happened there, but i always wanted to see a ghost .lol , if i dotn return by the weekend then you know what happen to me.

tonight i decided to finish this cute drawing done by my friend Lynn aka Jessi. I am still struggleing with colors but as the saying goes, "practice makes perfect" ...well, i m not looking for perfection or anything ^_^ but i do enjoy painting with colors. I also managed to played with a tone of Painters brushes. there are so many options in this program it is insane. on Saturday went to work at the Renessian Festival as a curricularture artist. I worked in the kids section, It was great oppertunity for me to observe different features on different people. i really enjoy it. A big thanks to Jolene for inviting me. I made almost 200 dollars, not bad for 7 hours of work :) It was quite tiring at the end, but everyone seemed very happywiththe drawing. I was a little nervous because i haven't done those typeof drawing in years. but with a bit of practice i was up and running in no time. will post some photo later on. I m in the mood to draw tonight. my parents....

I want one.

I wouldn't mind having this little guy. but it ll have to wait until i am better situated..when ever that will be.

this week i decided to take it easy for a bit, need a little break. this is a rough idea. i haven't touch colors in a while and look how crapy i ve gotten. :( oh well, there's 3 tattoos that i still got to finish hopefully it ll be soon i like to post it up, but now ihave to save up for tattoo machine, i need three to be exact and it is roughly 200 each. ..shit...now where did i put that fake hand gun ?

Big Donut, lol, i think she only managed to finish a quarter of it before giving me the rest, i finish a half of it, it was too sweet for me.

Last night we went to state fair, I really wanted to ride something crazy and fast but unfortunately my neck got injured, I musta slept in the wrong position a couple of nights ago when i got up it really hurts, can barely tilt or turn it, but fortunately it is better today. so i just stood aside and watch they have all the fun. after ward we went to try a bunch of food, i got my self a turkey leg and curly fries, matt had a turkey leg, a corn on a cub, finished Jessi
s corndog, helped me finish my frys, and dipped fried snikers. lol, he's an eating machine. I can't eat as much as i used to anymore, before we left i split a huge pickle with Jess. she ate most of it though.

Me her and jay went to WalMart a couple night before that picture was taken to pick out those groovy pair of earing. I think she thinks me and Jay are gay. heh, but obviously where not, she
's jut jealous then we came back eat some more of Jay's cooking, watch some Japanese Magician (Japanese Chris Angle) show, i think she felt sleep the entire time. but it was fun, she seems to be a lot more comfortable around me and jay.

This was last Friday before last Friday, we were down in Mesa next to Fiesta Mall, I Think the place was called Buffalo wild wings. Great place. the wings were awesome. It was quite a night.
we drang and sang Karayoke. I think we left the bar at 1 some thing and then ended up at Denny till almost 4 am. Jay had to get up at 8, Jessi had a monring class at 8 and i had to be at work by 10.

Been feeling down for the past couple of days. an unfortunate incident had happened over the weekend. , ...because of something beyond my control ..someone who puts a lot of faith, filled my life with lots of hopes and whom I look up to with great respect is no longer around...now i m left to manage on my own. ...much time had passed but I ll manage...at least until i give up...

A small head ache, probably need to go home and sleep abit. Last night we went out to Buffalo Wild Wing down in Mesa. It was great, a bunch of us did Karayoke. I wasn't drunk enough to want to do that because i had to drive home, next time will have Jess drive.

forgot my camera plug, and my scanner won't work under Win64. oh well, will post something new tomorrow. today i did a drawing of English Bulldog and a burst of a Native girl. until tomorrow, come back then.

It took almost a year for me to recover from my previous relationship, ( I guess i really liked her) but I am happy to say that i am only a few steps away from the finish line. Now that i think about it, it was quite an exciting experience, I like to analize all thE different steps, to step back and ask my self why i acted a certain way, I never be the same but next time I ll know what to do and handle things differently. ...hopefully i ll be a better lover as well. My thoughts of her hasn't cross my mind in a long while, thats always a good thing:) now i can focus all my energy on other potential mate, lol, i should have started that a long time ago. but i wasn't really wanting to get into another drama again. At the moment I truly just enjoy being by myself, meeting new faces. well, there's more to life then finding the perfect girls, I enjoy looking for ways to improve myself. You wont believe how popular I'd become since I started at the tattoo shop :P.

Last Monday I went to visit Hana and her bf Dan at their place, (meet them at First Friday) Hana made this delicious fry rice with vegetable. not sure what it was call but it was great. I think both of them are vegetarian and very cool. after ward we sat and talked about random stuff. Hana told me about her cute single female friend who i insist i should probably meet one day. Dan is a very interesting guy, just like Hana very friendly and sincere. after ward we went to a local Cafe and hung out for a while.

Looks like I will meet all my new year resolutions after all, two more months to go.
Hooray!! My first visitor. Jessica came by to the shop last night.I think i finally got her interested in tattooing finally. but it ll be a while before I will be her master :P

hella hard

this is very hard to do, still in rough stage, it will go on the side of the rib cage, I must do more researching, the flame will be redrawn so that it better fit with the line work of the skull.
i love how i m soooo busy constently drawing and drawing and drawing and drawing..my kinda job. however i was having a brain fart the past two night, wasn't able to come up with anything cool at all, just need to rest a bit and do a ton more research. reseach research....

I was there supporting my art friends. Damions was saling T-shirt, Ish was just there to support as well. Jessi made 100 bucks that night. her art work is quite good. actually i really like it. I am trying to get her to want to get into tattooing ..eventually.

begin shading. This one took about another hour, still poking around and testing.(still a little slow)

with a little bit more experience from yesterday i am able to make nice shading today. This one was challenging, i work on this while he sets up. so my drawing arm was in an awkward position, but i ll get use to i,t imagine drawing with your pad at about 80 degree while trying to stretch the skin and tryign to keep my drawing hand from shaking. I still do not have enough wrist power to keep full control of the machine. (note to self : work out wrist and fore arm alot more) I think it was best to let him lay side way on his side. when i draw i usually rest my arm on something and let my wrist rotate. when i can't do that my lines always end up looking not so straight. there's a few bad spots here and there. but i can fake it and hide it with the shading. lol, after all it is a free tattoo. other then that i love to shade, it was really easy. I wish the shop didn't close or i didn't have to go to my other job. I wish i could keep going with tattooing. until i can't do it anymore

the guy i tattooed today offered to pay if i could draw an Aztec warrior, basically something like that barbarian guy i drew a few days ago. just change his out fit to look like AZtec. He told me he really like the pose. he mentioned that alot of the Aztec drawing he saw have about the same pose...(static and boring )lol, i think that's a compliment.
unfortunately i couldnt' get the tattoo machine, my credit card company is being a little bastard.
I went to First Friday and passed out a few Free Tattoos flier, I talked to all this really good looking girls and they seemed really interested in it.(unfortunately not me...) feels kinda weird, I wonder if they only talked to me only because i have something they want. or would they even give me their time of day if i was to just talk to them. ...oh well, i mind as well use my tattoo skills to my advantage. heh, weather they show up or not is another stories. I'm still trying to get used to all this compliments. :) I suppose to do tattoo on this girls boobies next week or something.
I really like my job because i am constiently drawing, when not tattooing i m either drawing for my own pleasure or preparing a drawing for the next tattoo.
the oddest thing is , i draw all day and then when i come home i draw even more. we sort of form our own art club. me, matt, jessi, diamon, ish. and a few.

I poked my self in the figure today, it barely penatrate the toppest layer of the skin (no blood) and it was before i start. so i should be ok.
Still trying to keep everything as clean as possible.

I have to remember to go get my blood tested ( I should be on the clear)
and get vaccination shot for hepatitis A and B.
have to watch for C though. no cure for it.

Digging around

I m just retouching it up, the original out line colors are about the same value as the one tattoo above it, Spent about an hour yesterday testing with the needles. It looks a bit darker but Robert told me that the colors usually gets a bit lighter when the skins heal.


Not much i can do to it. This is what i did to it today, about an hour worth of work, still digging around and adding my touch to it, i wanted to make the fur so that it actually looks like fur. learned many new tricks as well. I'm so afraid that I will hurt the person im tattooing that i can't get the ink in fast enough, so today i decided to be a little bit rough on him. lol, he still can't feel any pain. I was tol d that i have the most gentlest hand ever. ...i wonder if that is a good thing or not. i really like the position i m in right now as far as where my life is going. ..thats hard to say sometime but ...Cheers to that!!!
tomorrow i get to do a tattoo of a cross with jesus in it. it ll be fun . tuesday i get to do a pair of wings. looks like i will be getting busy pretty fast here.

Getting busy

I'm getting really busy now. Today i get to tattoo and do some shading on one of the friend. It was awesome, it doesn't feel like the practice skins but i love it. can't wait to do more. He s got a tone of tattoos on his body, i think he mentioned there's like 40, I 'm mainly just touching up stuff, he told me i could do what ever to it. so it is nice of him to offer that. He will be in everyday at 6 pm. so, can't turn that down can i. I also ordered my pair of tattoo machines. almos 400 dollars but it is a great investment. I forgot my camera so could n't post the last tattoo. I have an appoint ment on Saturday a few days next week. there's still alot of slots to be fill up, so sign up here if you live near by. get em while it last. :) Tomorrow I will be passing out some flayers and meeting up with some old friends i d meet at First Friday. hope to see you ther. not sure if i ll have any of my art work there.
