What a nice day!

today tattooing sessions went pretty good, did two and got feed twice. yeah!!! get to sharping my tattooing skills and eat free food. Finally got my first 20 dollar today, for doing tattoo. WooHoo!!! ...Gas money. I did managed to fucked up, Was using a 7 meg and the needle was out too far and couldn't tell that it was cutting his skin, I asked if it was hurting but the guy just told me it was fine. It wasn't anything bad, looks like a little knee scrap. Now i know how it looks like when you do that , so i guess in a sense i d gain new experience. Its great being tattoo person, you get to meet different people, and get to really get to know them at a personal level. we were just bull shitting about random shit. Every one wants to give me things, today Marcel give me lights, battery, offered to help me get a job, help look for a place to stay, will even try too look for a girl friend for me. Dawg was telling me if I wanted to work with his friend at the air port, tomorrow he wants to get me a box with wheel so that i can put all my tattoo junk in there and not have to carry it. I was working on the wing on his back today, it turned out pretty good so far, it was a bit of a rough start but as far as i can tell i certain that it ll turn out good, didn't have time to do any color studies today, Jay still need to barrow the drawing tablet, his quarter is coming to an end and he is packed with school work, Last night i had a great time painting with my friend. we were up till 3 am. i got up at 8 am this morning. I feel like tattooing, have 2 to do today.
Hana and Dan called, they wanted to see if I wanted to go hang out, But after seeing how much i have in my bank account i didn't go.
I found a reasonablely priced 3M stenciling machine, Might pick that up tomorrow. I try tracing it by hand to day and it was boring as hell. ...its worth the invest ment,

Dirty Boy

silly dog, He keeps coming up to me with the bunny in his moth as if he wants me to have it, but then when i try to get it he runs away.


he's a dirty cat, every time we let him out he runs to eat grass then rolled in dirt. I watched my sister gave him a bath ones, first he was hissing and crying and trying to get away. as you can tell he's not exactly in the best shap, after a few minutes he got too tired to fight back so he just sits there in the bath tube while my sister scrubs him away with out any fight...i sure misses him.

Last week i didn't do very much, just went home for the holiday, had plenty to eat.

My parents was suggesting me to open my own tattoo shop one day. If i was serious about it, they ll do what they can to help me. a friend of the family also suggested i do the same.

Interestingly enough Mel called today and wanted to see if I was going to life drawing. I was so excited to hear her voices. I thought she d never call, i think i gave her my number months ago. the last time i saw her was at that Halloween party at San Carlos hotel. anyways, it was nice that she called and we meet up at the life drawing. she also brought her friend as well, her name is Bee. Mels life drawing skills is very good, i was very impress with her porportions analysis, (damn, computer!!!) ditched work to go hang out and draw, how hard core is that? Taylor wasn't even there :( . It was nice to see her again, she suggested that me, Jay and her hang out again. I think she is moving sometime in spring. after life drawing i return to this depressing place.

My friend Jason called aka Pelon. I worked with him while at the Tattoo shop. a great caring guy. he called me Mejo...I miss seeing him. The guys at the shop decided to give him crap so he left the shop as well. but he's been doing tattoos at home for so many years that he's already got alot of people. He wanted to know if i wanted to keep learning and offered to help me as much as possible. this coming week i have lots to do.

a very successful business person offered a helping hand if i was thinking about opening up a shop one day.
Life have its moments, It has been kinda lonely for the past weeks. seems like everyone wants to hang out with me for a bit and then everyone would disappear all at the same time. Nella finally wrote me back, not sure what happened to her. I think Jessi found her self a new boy friend now, that's probably why she's been so quite for the past month. hopefully she s not the type that ditch her friends over ...nm, if she really wants to hang out she ll call. in the mean time i have my own problems to worry about.

to day my friend called and ask if i m still interested in helping him out with the architecture stuff. he talked to a few local commercial builder and looks like they may have alot of work. Its been a while since i touched 3D, but it shouldn't be a problems, give me a few days and i should be back up and running again. so, it is always to keep a positive out look in life. I told him i am free and welling to jump in and help him out.

I suppose to go hang out with Lace and her friend tonight, but Jay couldn't make it, swamped with home work i guess. Hana called and told me about her adventure with her boy friend over the weekend. she invited me to go have dinner with her and her friend next weekend. ..wish i have a special someone for the holiday...still time :)

some of you probably have seen this before , with my new skills i aquired with in the last year i thought i revisit it.

Getting hit on??

To be honest i'm not even sure what s the definition of "getting hit on" means.
We went to this bar last night, as i was setting at the bar with my buddy enjoy my beer, i notice this good looking ladies entered the bar, thinking in my head.."wow those are very attractive womans , i think they re in their mid 30's. anyways, some how they ended up setting next to us.
As I was setting there listening to music, one of the girl took my beer right out of my hand and started drinking. ..
I don't hang out at bar very much and didn't know how to response to it. so i was thinking...maybe thats a very command and friendly thing to do. ....or maybe she was too drink to realized what she did.

there were a number of things that happened. i think those two girls were especially there looking for someone to hit on them. I asked if they going to sing, then she muttered something about wanting drinks. so i bought them drinks..and then that was the end of that. ...not sure but maybe they were expecting me or us to move in ....but..i didnt' know what was going on, just figured i get them drinks and that's that...so i just went back to setting down and listening to the songs again (those are attractive ladies) and then one of them said she wanted to sing...so i pointed out to her who was the host. didn't seems like she wanted to get up so i went to notify her for her. it s a small bar. ......anyways, at one point she tried to give me a kiss but i wasn't really paying attention, thinking that she was probably drunk...but I think it was just friendly kiss on the cheek, ....( i m not a very kissy our touchy type with random people ) ..............there were a bunch of other guys that came around trying to talk to them . i especially noticed this one younger kid he came by and eyed them like Vultures....thinking to my self...man can't you be any more obvious? anyways, i they were their for a while ..then finally gave up...they both keep looking at us ...as if wanting we to move to their table. one of the girls said she wanted to sing and asked if i could help her find the the artist. ....bah in the end, i think she just wanted us to go set next to her because she said she didn't want to sing after all ........my friend was like ..dude, we could have gone home with them....i was like ...really? ... i thought i was just being nice. ( my buddy is pretty experienced with this type of situation he went though it quite a bit... i m guessing he said those two are just looking to get laid for sure......well, you ll have to be there...

Now that i think about it, dang i m an idoit ....oh well, there's always next time...hopefully.

I think from what i can tell, they were expecting this typical guys to buy them drink and hit on them and possiblely try to get in their pants by the end of the night....and we didn't do that...(we did bought both of them several drinks) they seemed kinda rejected as they were leaving, dang and they were good looking too...we could at least talk to them alot more :P

Was on this for almost 2 hours, the room was not well lite so it was a little hard to see, one of my tattoo power supply didn't live up to where i want it to be , or may be it is just me but chit, there goes 140 bucks. i have nt tat in a few weeks so it was a little rough, but mananged to pick up a few new tricks to night. yeahh for that. until tomorrow.

Now it is just a matter of doing it. I was very lucky today, fortunately the gentleman that I'd been tattooing gave me the third tattoo machine. A machine which I would like to get eventualy ones I save up enough for it, save me probably amost 200 bucks. :) now i ll have 3 machines up and running with out having to switch back and forth when i want to change needles. His wife also feed me tonight, it was some pasta,,with meat...not sure but it was delicious. He told me he came across a guy who can sale me some tattoos supplies for very cheap. ..so he ll talked to him tomorrow and see what sort of deal he can get for me. remember how i say i really like the fact that i love doing tattoos because i feel alot more appreciated. thats how i feel tonight. (I'm not just another employee at some game company)
In the end i dont expect anything in return but it is a nice gestures and it makes me feel like i m being appreciated.


Last week I meet a bunch of new faces, one wanted me to tattoo his entire back. my other friend also wants a tattoo else. Meet a few girls as well, one is a message theropy, She offer to give me a good rub down if i go visit her . heh, that sounds pretty good to me. in exchange for that, i ll take her out to dinner or something.

I like how much dark values are used in this and yet it is still easy to identify the forms....showing details with out showing every details. ..sort of like Bruce Lee's quote ...."My art of fighting is the art of fighting with out fighting"

The funnest thing to do is to create a black completely black selavet <== not a clue on out to spell that word. and then slowly work in the details.....if that makes any sense.

It's been a while

I talked to my parents the other day about me becoming a tattoo artist. I was very happy with their support. Over the years I had many career change. Originally I wanted to become an art teacher, a Nurse, an Alaskan Fisher man, Forest RAnger, Illustrator, Video game artist, ....in the end I get very close to what i wanted to be...still can't figure out how I ended up with Graphic Design degree though. I am happy with my BA in video game ..but can't picture my self slaving in front of the computer day in and day out for the rest of my life. I m the type that needs fresh air, need to get out move my body. THe other day i think my vision are actually getting worst. probably because of the damn monitor. anyways, realizing that i am not getting any younger...i ve decided to stick with Tattooing for as long as i can...either that or give up.

My parent offered to help me open a small tattoo shop one day..in Tucson. I think they just want me to move back home. depending on my situation for the next couple of month I may just do that. .
funny story, I think my mom wants me to start a Family soon...she's been asking when she will see a grandson. :) she called the other day and told me about this man she talked to who is i guess from Thailand. they got talking about how he's got a daughter back home and my mom told him about me. and then somehow the conversion between them ended with the idea of getting me and her hooking up. my mom mentioned sevearal time how beautiful she is....keeping in mind this is purely based on what he had told her. I told my mother it sounds great and all but looks aren't everything. I would down grade a couple of notch on looks for royalty and a genuine person. It could definately work, i could travel there and meet her but i have to know her for a while before i can decide if we re compatible or not. ....
