NO time to despair

its fun to see how far this drawing got. I remember thinking how I thought the drawing sucked when i first started but now it kinda grew on me I i enjoy creating it alot.

Tonight I made 3 new friends: Kayla, Rein, Damien. Kayla invite me to go meet more of her friends at school and help with some project. everyone wants to invites me to different places, its nice to be wanted, or when people think I know something they don't and want me to give them my advices. I really enjoy helping them :) seeing their happy little faces, showing me how much they appreciate my advices makes my day. ahhh! maybe i should start a drawing club or volunteer to help other with art or something. .. Maybe I will follow my old dreams of becoming an art teacher. One time i volunteer to do face painting at a Halloween party, boy was it fun. all this adorable little kids wanting me to draw on them. ..reminds me of me when i was little. they asked for simple stuff like pumpkin, spideman, ninja turtles, they just seem so happy, it makes me happy to see them happy. One lady insist that she wanted to give me $10 tips lol, I told her there's a donation jar near by. did it for couple hours, lol, there were kids waiting in lines for it :P ahh! such innocents, i wish i was a kid again, I was so full of life and energy ,,sandly now the way of the world has crushed much of my spirit.
I was thinking about going to apply at community college and see if i can get a teaching position or something. maybe even high school. ...lol,

The title actually is taken from one of my friend's screen name on my space. We went to elementary school together, from 5-7 grade. I'm so happy that most of my friends back then still remembers me I still keep in touch with quite a few, it's nice to be remembered.

Images of her still hunts me in my dreams.
When i feel sad, I Think about Happy memories.
Then I continue to draw.

bahhh, i can't write , this sucks. ..

Been drawing too much this week...i can't believe i m saying that but it'was true, didnt' seem like i accomplished much though. :(

My art skills has improved much more then I can imagine in the past year. I am almost thank full for what happened. I may have lost someone very special to me but the skills and knowledges i'd gain are much greater then my lost.

Work sucks

growing up as a kid , up to 11, He was one of my favorite character.
This one is turning out to be a total disaster, her original tarso was too short, so i had to spend several hours correcting it,bythen the paper could not take anymore colors. now to finish the arm and the cape. ...damn..yes, her boobs are overly large, but i can't fix that.

Keep at it

Spent about 3 hours on it the other day, I keep working on it every couple hours a day, lol, maybe next year i ll be done, now only if i can keep paints from getting everywhere.

yep, her again. I do like making small changes, so instead of risk drawing on the actual paper itself and totally screwing it up, i like to put it here so that i can fix it easily.

I really like to paint at night in my room so ..for health reasons, I will be switch to Acrylics , while I was back home i got a chance to see some of my friend's painting and it was awesome. He told me he just got old sold for 1200. I m going to continue painting with oil and finish the 4 pieces and then migrate to Acrylics completely, seems way cheaper too.

My parents lived out of the city, on the way back i decided to take the back road, it was really pretty.
Everytime i go visit my parents he would run to hide under neat the bed. lol, we decided to closed the door to the bed room.
This little boy is very shy, every time i pick him up he tries to hide his face under my arm or blanket.

HI, This one will be the biggest one ever 24x36. just got the original printed out today for transfer.
I don't think I want to use Paint Thinner again :( .. right now I m trying Grumbacher Pre tasted Odorless Thinner solvant inodore. What I don't understand is ,,,It says on the bottle "Vapor Harmful" isn't it more dangerous to used something that you can barely smell yet can be harmful to you where as regular paint thinner you can obviously smell it from a mile away and you know when to avoid it. Well, if you have suggestion on safer brand please let me know. I like to thin out my oil quite a bit. is it bad to have paints paints on my hand all the time (hard to avoid when painting) or should i wear gloves? thanks maybe i should get a gas mask . :O
I wouldn't mind orderless oil paint, but do you run into the same issue? like orderless paint thinner? ie. vapor bad for you. thanks again :)
Alkyds by Winsor Newton , are those expensive and odorless, i think i remember you mentioning about it a while back. ? sigh,,,,oil paints get expensive really fast :( .

Paint Thinner Hurts Brain

After about an hour I was about to fall over :( , I also had a beer so,lol, that might have been it too. anyways, i got the first layer down , this one will take a while but assuming i could pull it off and i will certinaly try it could look really good or it could look really shitty.. I ve diceded to work on 3 painting at the time that way while i wait for one to dry i can jump on the other, tomorrow i start on the one of the kind with the pig. andthen jump back to the alien. all due by the end of the month , lets see if i ll make it. ...back to 3D houses for the rest of the night, hope the two will dry by tomorrow. maybe i should put it in the car.

Our first nightly painting in a long while, had 20 mins to get this far, i try to give it painterly look, now if only i can put it onto a canvas like that , i ll be golden :)

What a productive day

This one was from a year ago. 18x24 .5 hours

Went to life drawing last night, at Anti-Art school something, something, Its pretty good, that place usually have really good looking model :P. , Stina side view, only had 30 mins to do this one. total mess but it came out ok.
this one i had 2.5 hours on it, did the head in .5 hours and spent the rest on her body. she's hot :) very small girl . probably 5'1" 18x24
a quick test render.
and attempt at oil painting again, mainly black and white, with slight colors.

for fun, I will attempt to paint this one. as my goal to get better with draperies I decided to wear a rope for this one. lol, i try to paint at work but don't to mess this place up , might get fired or something. I think i m getting high of of this paint tinner. mixing colors are fun but it will take time before i get the colors i want, for now i m still a noob with it. hope to start tomorrow and finish this week its only 14x20 so it shouldn't take too long.

I'm getting that next along with a car, . lol, yeah, i ll probably end up dieing but whatever. i really like the color scheme, nice and bright, i ll get a bright yellow everything , boots, gloves, helmet, pants and jacket., maybe my chance of getting hit by a car will be a bit less likely. with that suit on , i ll probably die of heat stroke though. at least its cheap, 6000 bucks. I m not the type that like flashy fast car or anything, i ll settle for something dependable and doesn't suck on gas. Maybe a Toyota Camry, or a beat up SUV of some sort, an old land Cruiser would be sweet. I have always wanted to get a used Humvee, i d looked around and it seemed affordable. but those goods are nothing but material things, something that will eventually end up in the land-field. it sucks to see your self buying something, and knowing that it will be gone.
