High Hope

latest render, can't seem to get the glass to reflect the environment. oh well, next time.

heres something else i like to go back and relight and touch up but only one piece at a time.
here s an older version i did back in 2003. quite a change.
after hours of monkeying around, here's a slightly better version. it turned out pretty good
I finally figured out how to used the Vray Sun. YEAHHH!!
I am relighting the scene and will retexture it.
interesting story, this was about 3 weeks ago. a friend of my told me that he knew someone that got commisioned to work on building 12 houses just like we did. He had 3 weeks to do it. He was going to split the load with my friend that way they could do 2 houses each per week. But in the end greed took over him because he flacked out on my friend and stopped talking to him. I don't know why people do that. Its so inconsiderate ( hehe i did answered my own questions a few second a go) if they dont want you to work on the stuff in the end, it would be nice to just say it. anyways, i'n not sure how the quality exspectation were , but i m sure the more realistic the better and i wasn't told how many different shots they wanted for each house. all i remember was that they just wanted the exterior done. It was 1000 per house, thats 12000 in 3 weeks. that would be so cool when we can charge that much, i can do a house a week and i ll be set ") heh, until then.

Thats Great.... Seeeee, it backs up what I've been telling you... that you guys deserve to be payed what the going rates are, Also that you are professionals, and deserve to be paid like it. Now, you said, you cant wait to charge that amount. Well then don't wait. Remember, if you always ask for little thats always what they will expect to give you. They certainly don't undercharge their work for their clients. You have proven yourselves with this last run of houses! Now go get em!

I agree with Gary Chatree with all the houses in your portfolio should be able to Jump to bigger houses.

Awesome job on that scene and I remember it. Cool to see a update of it again.
