more test

just having fun with colors before i call it the night. Any suggestions on the composition is much appreciated.

nightly painting, this one was ..well to much to do in an hour, so i just mainly get the colors down. still goood practice though, I love the painting, the contrast are great.
color test. extreme contrast test..drawing with high contrast catches my eyes more. i created a few hot spots on the samuri but i think i may have used the wrong colors, oh well,l thats why im practicing ..for this one i just throw in colors based on ..environment. i defined the light sources, man, after all this years, i finally realized how important it is to know where the lights are, and showing subtle details and not all details, shadows play ahuge role in your stuff,with out good contrast and high lights your stuff end up looking muted and boring ...i m totally addicted to drawings,,,hope to cramp every thing in a few months and get to the level i need to be. as always, I paint like the wind.
